" such as workers' rights and economic injustice. The difference between the past and present, however, is obvious. There is no communist threat to the US. "Communism" can't be a wedge anymore. Yet the more they apply the rhetoric of the past to the politics of present, the more they appear out-of-touch."

"They want a country friendly to business and indifferent to workers." "But first they have to face the truth - and I'm not sure they can"
First you must do your research of history. You speak of the Republican party like it is not the workers party. You are wrong. Just because Marxism wants laborers to own everything and create a political dictatorship does not mean free markets are not for workers.
1. Unions where created by Republicans to fight against marxism and slavery. Abraham Lincoln created the frist labor Unions that turned into militias that fought against the non market economy of the south.
2. Workers rights in history have always been pioneered by Republicans. For example anti trust laws, the ability of the miners rights to own their own weapons to fight against the major corporations. Which Republicans where fully for as the miners fought for their rights against the state and the greedy political elite.
3. Communism is completely against workers rights. In Communism folks work 10-12 hour days because it is good for the community. There has never been a Communist party that did not have their workers working that many hours. It is Republicans and Republican Unions of labor and politics and militias that fight against communism. And yes my friends my family is teamster and very Republican. We believe 100% in the right to own our own business.
4. The idea that republicans are against labor is like saying Marxism was not the primary thing that stalin used to create corporations. Which my friend if you know anything about communism or stalin. Corporations where his idea to get the free market world to become socialized through collective ownership. Away from small individual ownership of companies and lands.
5. The Communist threat, as if there is no communist threat. You obviously did not read about one of your own journalist that was just kicked out of a Communist Country for complainging about labor or state owned enterprises forcing them to slave for days on end with no rights, as the state or communist party needs them to work cheaply to destroy free market abilities to compete. Heard of Communist China.
6. The Communist Chinese Party is the biggest protector of fascist and dictator parties in the world and the funder of almost every single terrorist group that wishes for fascism to retake hold using marxism as their racsist principle.
I think you need to first of all take hold of the historical past. If it was not for the Republican party. As per genomic communism, the darker skinned folks would be working the outside jobs as it makes sense in communism as they are more genomic for it, while the lighter skinned folks with a world history of being very more advanced and smarter would do the inside work. Along with that without Republicans there would be no workers rights, as the workers would not be able to own weapons to fight and help international workers fight. For example, almost every single labor union in this world was created by Republican Americans. Who went there like my father MacDonald as a Republican to create labor Unions to fight against the Soviet State Owned Communist Party.
You are a spin, what is called a false truth. You know not history and try and spin it for the Communist party as did the Soviets try and say Unions are Marxist. No Unions are the complete opposite of Marxism. As it allows for diversity and different ownership and cultural affiliations away from the mono style Marxist what is good for the community is good for the whole. Which in any supply and demand chart in any world of logic will show you. In communist economics and governance it creates biggest hostilities and disparities than free market and democracies do.
